30th Year Anniversary Celebration!!
Extraordinary Measures for Extraordinary Times
"Whatever you do for even the
least of these, my brothers, you do for me"
Matthew 25:40
An increasing number of single mothers are facing homelessness today!
"Mothers & Children Housing Ministry" is an emergency and transitional housing program
for mothers with preadolescent children who have become or are in eminent danger of being homeless.
Safety … responsibility … accountability … progress are all program priorities.
The Ministry provides:
A safe place for her children
A caring environment to grow in
An opportunity to regain stability
Resources to become independent
And most importantly ...
Hope for the Future

Congratulations to Pam Smith, our Mothers & Children Housing Program Manager!
She was awarded the 2011 Anne Laukaitis Champion for Children Award by the
Cabarrus Partnership for Children - for her amazing impact in our community!
"Being a mom was supposed to be a blessing." She said, "I just never expected it to be like this ... It was bad enough that he left ... but why now ... pregnant again."
She was alone, with three young children.
Stacey was making it okay, living with her mother, until mom passed away. Not able to keep the house she and her children were homeless and she was expecting a baby. CCM's Mothers & Children Housing Ministry was the right answer for Stacey and her family. The structured program, a great attitude and lots of hard work paid off! Recently, after nine months in the safe and supportive environment of our Shelter and Housing program, Stacey moved into her own home. Working full time and appreciating the encouragement of friends and church members, Stacey and her children are living on their own and making it!
Mother's Day is a time to celebrate the power of love and hope ... hope for the next generation. It should be that way for every mother in our community. It's not, but it could be ... and will be ... with your help!
You can help CCM provide food, shelter and a pleasant, enriching environment for single mothers with children. Your donation will support the ministries that help mothers and their children find safety and stability in their lives.
