The Empty Stocking Fund was founded more than 70 years ago and is a joint project of Cooperative Christian Ministry and The YMCA. Funds raised through this holiday program are used to provide children in need with holiday gifts and to offer additional suport and assistance through our family adoption program and winter fuel fund.

The Annual CCM/SHOE SHOW Golf Classic raises support for Cooperative Christian Ministry to assist families in crisis with Financial Assistance, Food Assistance, and Emergency Shelter.

2011 Cabarrus County CROP walk
was held Sunday -- October 16, 2011,

The CROP Walk ( Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty ) is a unique response to the needs of poor and hungry people in our communities and around the world … and the spirit of cooperation that results when people of all faiths join together is both inspiring and invaluable. You too, can be a part of this experience by walking and/or supporting one of those who walk to help feed the hungry.
Festival of the Arts is a program devoted to the visual and performing arts which benefits the fight against homelessness in Cabarrus and Southern Rowan Counties. The Festival was established at A.L. Brown High School in 2004 and became a part of CCM’s effort to battle homelessness in 2006.
The 6th Annual Festival Of the Arts was held on Friday, May 6th, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Village at NC Research Campus in Kannapolis. The Festival was presented by CCM and A.L. Brown High School students. There were bands, vocal music, dance numbers, and fine arts.
