The Shelter is open 365 days per year and is operated by Cooperative Christian Ministry. All guests are provided a comfortable place to spend the night. We serve dinner and breakfast. Laundry services are available.
CCM is a member of the Carolina Homeless Information Network (CHIN). As a member of CHIN we use a computerized record keeping system called a Homeless Management Information System ( HMIS ). In order to fully participate, CCM is required to collect some personal information from people who are homeless and seeking shelter at the Night Shelter. Those seeking shelter should refer to the HMIS Participation Notice for information about what is being collected and how it is used.
A paid staff member is on duty from 7:00 pm - 7:00 am to support all volunteers.
My Father's House provides homeless families that have children under the age of 18 with the following services: temporary emergency housing for up to 60 days, food and necessities, case management to assist in housing, employment, mental health, and other identified needs. My Father's House relies on area congregations to provide overnight accommodations and meals for homeless families, while Cooperative Christian Ministry provides staff support and access to other resources.
